Pentax Statement (Ricoh Imaging)

Working together with CC Les Mains and for Pentax*, the goal was to use different SLR and DSLR cameras to provide a powerful set of images representing both the legacy of film photography and the future of SLR digital photography. In the campaign the agency worked with photographers from different backgrounds and nationalities.

Pentax wanted to make an statement to defend and embrace the uniqueness of SLR systems like the viewfinder, in a world that’s pivoting towards mirrorless camera bodies. Most of the images below were shot using a Pentax K1 Mark 2.

Special thanks to Creative Director Michiya Ebisawa for reaching out to me to participate in this project lead by CC Les Mains.
